Nestled throughout the 10-acre grounds of Carmel River Inn are our Cottages. Each of our cottages is unique and all, but a few, are pet-friendly cottages.



Seven of our cottages have been recently renovated and feature gas fireplaces, 32" LCD TVs, down comforters and elegant country charm. The older rustic cottages are decorated in pine log furniture, in keeping with the riverside setting and a number have a wood burning fireplace or kitchenette. Each of these eclectic cottages is named for a well-known character in Californias colorful history. Among these famous names, you will find such California historical icons as conservationist and photographer Ansel Adams, and controversial author Henry Miller.
