The Forge in the Forest has been a part of Carmel's history since 1944, but in 2001, the employees of the Forge made some history of their own. Rather than let this historic property close its doors forever, the employees banded together and bought the business. With hard work and their love for "The Forge", a beloved Carmel landmark was saved from "becoming history" and is once again the most popular gathering spot in Carmel. Come join us and become part of a tradition of gathering at The Forge for drinks and conversation that started years ago with legendary artists and writers such as Henry Miller, John Stienbeck and Francis Whitaker.
